Position Overview: The Group QA/QC Manager will oversee all Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) activities across multiple plants. This role involves ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality, consistency, and safety. The Group QA/QC Manager will develop, implement, and manage quality control systems designed to ensure continuous production of inorganic chemicals (consistent with established standards, customer specifications, and production goals).
Roles & Responsibilities: Develop and maintain QA/QC systems and processes across all plants.Establish and maintain quality control standards and systems, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.Ensure products meet quality and efficiency standards set by the company and relevant regulatory bodies.Lead, mentor, and train QA/QC teams across multiple plants.Conduct regular performance reviews and manage the development of the QA/QC staff.Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process/product issues.Stay updated with the latest industry standards, technologies, and methodologies to continually improve quality assurance processes.Plan, execute, and oversee product inspection and testing for quality and conformance to specifications and deliverables.Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external providers.Manage and maintain ISO 9001 or equivalent certification processes.Prepare and maintain detailed reports on quality performance, standards, and compliance.Ensure documentation of all quality assurance activities, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), manuals, and protocols.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.Minimum of 10 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within a manufacturing environment.Proven experience in managing QA/QC functions across multiple sites/plants.Experience with ISO 9001 or other relevant quality standards.Strong leadership and team management skills.Proficient in quality management software and tools.Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Manager (CQM), or other relevant certifications are a plus. Working Hours : Monday to Friday (8.30am - 5.30am)
