We are seeking an experienced and dynamicHead of Business Developmentto lead our sales/business development Cybersecurity division. This role is critical in driving the strategic direction, growth, and market expansion of our cybersecurity business. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in business development, a deep understanding of cybersecurity products and services, and a proven track record of building high-performing teams and delivering revenue growth.
What would the roles be?
Strategic LeadershipDevelop and execute the business development strategy for the cybersecurity division in alignment with the company's overall growth objectives.
Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and emerging technologies within the cybersecurity industry.
Establish partnerships and alliances to drive market expansion and enhance service offerings.Revenue GrowthLead the team in achieving and surpassing sales and revenue targets.
Drive new customer acquisition, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities.
Develop go-to-market strategies for new products and services.Client Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Act as the primary point of contact for major clients and ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Identify client needs and align them with appropriate cybersecurity solutions.
Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of business development professionals.
Foster a high-performance culture focused on results, collaboration, and professional growth.
Provide coaching and support to the team in achieving individual and collective targets.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends.
Provide insights to the executive team on market dynamics, client needs, and competitor strategies.Operational ExcellenceCollaborate with internal departments (e.g., Marketing, Product Development, Legal, Compliance) to ensure seamless delivery of solutions to clients.
Oversee the preparation of proposals, contracts, and RFP responses.
Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management.What are the pre-requisites?
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
5+ years of experience in business development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the cybersecurity industry.
In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity solutions, services, and market landscape.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholders.
Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a results-driven mindset.
Willingness to travel as required.
