Job SummaryLeads the management of all expenses across multiple business/strategic support units for the organization.
Develops and directs a team of financial analysts in monitoring and analyzing expenses enterprise-wide.
Formulates and manages corporate financial policy and plans for the organization.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeads and directs a team of financial analysts in monitoring and analyzing expenses across the enterprise.
Evaluates the effectiveness of current expense management policy and identifies areas for improvement.
Formulates and recommends policy changes to Senior Leadership.
Directs business/strategy support unit planning, budgeting, accounting, and provides expense reporting and analysis to business/strategy support unit leadership.
Accountable for governance of financial activities as well as consistent and accurate delivery of all financial information, data, and analysis for business/strategy support unit.
Provides appropriate financial analysis to determine expense trends in the industry and marketplace.
Cultivates strong relationships with business/strategy support unit leadership to implement expense policy changes.
QualificationsRequired:
Bachelor's Degree and 12+ years of experience in Financial Analysis and Reporting.
Experience managing business models that align with budgets and company disbursements.
Proven expertise in analysis, risk evaluation, forecasting economic trends, and enforcing fiscal policies and guidelines throughout the organization.
Expertise in policy and compliance regulations, ISO standards, and federal edicts.
Experience managing fiscal tools, models, reports, and reviewing, analyzing budgets, and performing financial analysis.
Preferred:
Insurance industry experience.
MBA or CPA.
Experience building and maintaining internal and external business relationships.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
