Health And Safety Officer (Hso)

REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidate must possess a Graduate Diploma or Degree in Safety & Health / Environmental or equivalent.
- Certified & registered as Safety and Health Officer by Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) Green book.
- At least 6 years and above working experience in the related fields (infrastructure).
- Have a valid CIDB card.
- Stationed full time at site.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To ensure company occupational, safety, health, and environment is in compliance with the International Standards, government regulation, and other requirements.
- The Safety Officer shall compile and update all related safety and health issues in a monthly report so as to keep track of safety performance indicators (formulated procedure, SOP, HIRARC, Confined Space, rules regulations on safety & health, etc.).
- To develop, implement, and monitor safety & health programs to ensure a safe, hazard-free working environment that will also satisfy the regulatory body (DOSH).
- Lead the safety team to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
- Liaise with DOSH to arrange for renewal of registered equipment and to close any observations and findings.
