As part of the HR Sub-region team, the HR Business Partner Excellence is responsible for supporting the HR Director in ensuring smooth and effective operation of HR processes and technology to enhance the overall employee experience. Their duties include overseeing HR processes, employee engagement initiatives, DIB, talent and performance management, budgets, implementation of new corporate policies, and the upkeep of internal HR systems. This role is integral in managing HR-related policy implementation and system maintenance, thereby contributing to the HR department's efficient functioning and alignment with the organization's broader objectives. (S)he equally ensures proper change management in support of the HRD by preparing communication, stakeholder management, and training.
In the role of HRBP your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Support the HR Director for all activities across the employee lifecycle for the sub-region including initiatives coming from the Global CoEs. HR BP is responsible for facilitating the implementation of HR processes across sub-region. (S)he builds a strong collaboration with all stakeholders in this process and acts as a bridge builder between the Global HR CoEs, sub-region leadership team and cluster teams. Captures the business needs via HR Director and BST and explores opportunities to support these needs.
Supportthe change management required for successful business, organization and HR process changes across sub-region. Ensures that cluster local teams are properly prepared for the change coming from business restructuring, M&A, new system deployments or optimization activities. Works closely with HR Director, Business Service Team, Key User community and local deployment teams to prepare communication, stakeholder management and training.
Together with Specialist People Analytics and HR GPO, the HR BP Data & HR IS continuously seeks opportunities to improve processes and data management based on company best practices, market benchmarks and WD configuration possibilities. (S)he brings knowledge to the table related to practical WD possibilities. (S)he is mindful about global consistency in line with the Sibelco operating model and the HR global framework and escalates deviations to Director HR Projects & People Analytics.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in administration, HR or related field
A minimum of 7 years prior experience with at least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role within HR operations.
Demonstrated experience in the various HR functional areas, especially compensation and benefits, HRIS, organization development, and employee relations.
Experience in using Workday HCM or similar system is a must, experience with Workday recruitment and Advanced compensation is an asset.
Fluent in both written and oral English. In addition, command of the local language is desired.
