Job Responsibilities- Design, maintain and implement policies and procedures for document workflow, office physical security and visitor handling (if required).
- Optimize process workflows efficiently using technology.
- Set up onboarding journey process and implementation.
- Manage the HR function for a business unit or line of business.
- Provide employee relations support, including conflict resolution, disciplinary action and performance improvement counselling.
- Conduct investigations regarding discrimination and unfair employment practices, including, but not limited to, those involving federal and state agency charges.
- Manage several HR functions such as payroll, employment, labour relations, compensation, equal employment/affirmative action, records, safety and health, benefits and employee services such as employment pass applications (if required).
- Assist management in planning, development, implementation and evaluation activities.
- Study feedback and develop strategies that balance the needs of employees and management with relation to employee services and policy alignment.
- Evaluate the status and productivity of HR programs and recommend changes to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and conduct training for management and employees on a variety of issues including, but not limited to, performance management and diversity.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Job DescriptionThis role will require someone who will be responsible for new set-up and supporting HR operations for Turkey and Europe/Korea/Canada. Provide daily service and support on office operations. Manage the effective implementation of human resources (HR) initiatives, policies and procedures, including compliance, employee onboarding and exiting, performance management, payroll, compensation, affirmative action planning and employee safety. Perform work that is varied and may be somewhat difficult but usually involves limited responsibility. Involved in managing statutory contributions manually on government portals.
Skills and Behaviours- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) designation preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and HR databases (preferred).
- Able to speak and write in English and other local languages e.g., Turkish/Korean/French etc.
- Documentation and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, with good interpersonal relationships and communication skills.
- Experience with standard software applications, including MS Office and Windows.
- Ability to handle several projects at once with precision and accuracy and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of local labour legislation.
- Familiarity with social media and other professional networks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and team management skills.
