Human Resource Manager

Develop, maintain and implement company HR policies and ensure their alignment with organizational goals and compliance requirements in Malaysia and Singapore.
Create, maintain, and update the companyemployee handbook , ensuring clear communication of company policies and procedures to all employees.
Prepare and present reports on governance, training, performance metrics, and overall HR activities to senior management for Malaysia & Singapore.
HR Operations for Malaysia & Singapore
Manage and oversee all HR operational matters for both Malaysia and Singapore, including but not limited to payroll processing, manpower planning and allocation, annual/monthly tax submission as well as staff leave.
To ensure timely and accurate employee compensation and benefits administration.
Maintain employee files and HR databases, ensuring that all information is up-to-date, confidential and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Assist in managing and maintaining effective relationships with office service providers, including suppliers, maintenance contractors, IT software vendors and other third-party vendors, to ensure the smooth operation of office services.
Act as a central point of contact for HR-related inquiries and issues in both countries.
Develop cross-border HR strategies that align with business goals and regional differences.
Health & Safety
Develop and implement workplace health and safety policies in compliance with legal requirements in Malaysia and Singapore.
Conduct regular health and safety training and awareness programs for employees to promote a culture of safety in the workplace.
Perform risk assessments to identify potential workplace hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Performance Appraisal, KPI Management, and Employee Relations
Design, implement, and manage performance appraisal systems to monitor employee performance, review and update performance appraisal frameworks to ensure fairness and effectiveness.
Develop and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to align individual and team goals with organizational objectives.
Provide guidance to supervisors/management on performance improvement plans and employee development initiatives.
Collaborate with staff supervisors and senior management to handle employee performance improvement, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution and employee relations, ensuring a fair and consistent approach.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, resume screening, interviews, and offer negotiations.
Manage onboarding and offboarding process, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Analyze feedback from offboarding to identify trends and implement improvements to employee retention and satisfaction.
Training & Development Programs
Identify training gaps and arrange for training programs to develop employees' skills and productivity.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Willingness and ability to travel to Singapore twice a week.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience as an HR Manager, with strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws in Malaysia and Singapore.
Expertise in developing and implementing HR policies, employee handbooks, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
Strong knowledge of performance appraisal frameworks, KPI tracking, and employee development programs.
Excellent understanding of governance, compliance, and HR best practices.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
