Verify and reconcile payroll data, including hours worked, allowances, and adjustments.
Checker role on internal and regulatory reports.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws.
Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in pay rates or benefits.
Prepare and submit required payroll reports and tax filings.
Monthly and quarterly report analysis for Management to review.
Provide support for payroll-related issues, including pay discrepancies and adjustments.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of payroll data by performing regular audits and reconciliations.
Update and maintain payroll software and systems.
Identify and implement improvements to payroll processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Stay current with industry's best practices and changes in payroll legislation.
Perform ad hoc tasks assigned by immediate superior or Management.
This role requires at leastIntermediate/ Advanced levelinMicrosoft Excel .
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Human Resource Management, Psychology or equivalent.
At least3 to 5 years of working experience in HR & Payrollis required for this position.
Good knowledge of Labour Laws and legislation such as Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act 1967, EPF Act 1951 / 1991, SOCSO Act 1969, etc.
Hands-on experience with HR software like HRMS, HRIS, etc.
Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role.
Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel/ Applications/ Formula.
Strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Experience with the BOSS system is an extra advantage.
Able to start immediately will be an advantage.
