Indirect Procurement Category Manager, Apac

**Job Purpose**:This position locates in Kuala Lumpur focus on APAC exclude China. While as part of the APAC Procurement team, you may also be expected to work with team on some China topics as assigned from time to time.As the sourcing and procurement manager, you will lead the procurement process build from 0 to 1 with indirect sourcing area, including platform building, policy establish & training and operational case implementation. Will work with functions to build up and drive the high efficiency procurement performance.**Main Tasks and Responsibilities**:Strategy sourcing management:- Identification of opportunities of indirect sourcing.- Work with global and region to touchdown the global procurement project and policy.- Standardize and Streamline the procurement process and work flow.- Build up and continuously improve the supplier's qualification process.- Supplier performance management.- KPI and result driven.Projects involvement and initiatives:- Initiate and in charge of sourcing related projects.- Participate sourcing and procurement related projects.- Leads procurement related projects to continuously improve procurement performance.- Management of ad hoc projects as assigned from supervisor.Regular operation:- Procurement regular operation.- Cooperate with relevant depts to promote the performance of overall procurement and corporate business.- Vendor relationship management.- Continuously improve compliance, quality service and cost in the procurement processes.Other Tasks as assigned related to APAC or Global procurement tasks or projects.**Requirements needed**:**Education and experience**:- Bachelor's degree and 10 years' experience of sourcing/purchasing/procurement.- Familiar with supplier qualification system and vendor performance management process.- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.- Good English speaking and writing.**Personal Attributes**:- Honest, fair, diligent with good professional responsibility.- Willing to work under pressure to build the processes from 0 to 1.- Good communication and collaboration skills.
