2. Infrastructure & Systems Management
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure including ERP systems, cloud solutions, and network services.
Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of IT systems to support mission-critical operations, including manufacturing and distribution.
Monitor system performance, conducting regular audits and updates to meet evolving business needs and regulatory compliance in Malaysia.
3. Software & Cybersecurity
Lead the development and maintenance of in-house software.
Enforce robust cybersecurity measures to protect data and systems.
Establish disaster recovery protocols and incident response strategies to mitigate IT risks.
Provide IT hardware and software support to users.
Efficiently resolve IT incidents and outages.
Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Manage IT vendor relationships and negotiate contracts.
Develop and manage the IT budget, optimizing costs.
4. Policy & Compliance
Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with industry standards, including data protection, software licensing, and cybersecurity regulations.
Provide training and development opportunities to IT staff.
Continuously evaluate and assess emerging technologies for potential organizational impact.
Propose and implement IT solutions that enhance business productivity, operational efficiency, and sustainability within the agrochemical industry.
5. Strategic Management & Planning

Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field (Master's in AI, Data Science, or a similar field preferred).
Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior IT management role, with comprehensive knowledge of ERP systems and IT infrastructure.
Experience with AI and machine learning frameworks (such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-Learn) and data science tools (such as Python, R, or SQL).
Strong understanding of data management and analytics, with experience in data warehousing, ETL processes, and data visualization tools.
Strong knowledge of database management and optimization using SQL, with the ability to design and manage complex database structures.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing a diverse IT team, including software developers and system administrators.
Excellent project management and budgeting skills, with a track record of delivering IT solutions on time and within budget.
Expertise in cybersecurity practices, data protection, and regulatory compliance.
Ability to think strategically and implement IT initiatives aligned with business goals, particularly in the context of an ERP-driven environment.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
