Customer Service:Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.
Take orders from customers accurately and efficiently.
Answer customer inquiries regarding menu items and provide recommendations based on their preferences.Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment.
Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of coffee equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Senior Barista/Barista Manager.
Inventory Management:Assist in monitoring inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other ingredients.
Restock supplies as needed and inform the Senior Barista/Barista Manager of any shortages.
Assist in managing waste by following proper portion control and storage practices.Cleanliness and Hygiene:Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the coffee bar, counters, and customer seating areas.
Follow all food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handwashing and sanitization procedures.
Ensure that all beverages are prepared in a clean environment and meet the café's hygiene standards.Learning and Development:Continuously develop barista skills and knowledge through training and practice.
Stay updated on the latest trends in the coffee industry and apply new techniques and recipes as directed.
Seek feedback from Senior Baristas and customers to improve performance.
Work closely with other café staff, including cashiers, kitchen staff, and senior baristas, to ensure smooth operations.
Assist in other café duties as required, such as clearing tables, washing dishes, or helping with food preparation.
