The Dexcom Compliance Department, also known as the Integrity Team (or I-Team for short), is a close-knit global team of talented professionals. We are trusted business partners who foster a culture of integrity that empowers employees to do the right thing. This position will support the implementation and operation of all elements of Dexcom's Corporate Compliance Program in the APAC region,. This role will put you in a unique position to work with global compliance colleagues and as a strategic partner across many business functions in the region.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Training and Communication:
Assist in the development and execution of annual compliance training and awareness plan.
Develop compliance training and awareness materials to increase employees' awareness, understanding and application of Dexcom's Corporate Compliance program requirements.
Deliver effective compliance training to stakeholders, potentially including training on HCP interactions, ABAC Due Diligence, general Compliance Program requirements, and new employee orientation.
Track the completion status of compliance training modules and liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
Risk Assessment and Management:
as Assist with the annual compliance risk assessment, development of the compliance risk register, and tracking of risk mitigation action plans.
Compliance Investigation:
Assist with investigations of potential violations of the company's Conduct of Conduct, policies and procedures.
Draft investigation reports.
Compliance Monitoring:
Assist with development of annual compliance monitoring plan for the APAC region.
Conduct compliance monitoring reviews and draft reports.
Track the progress and completion of remediation actions.
Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption:
Provide guidance to stakeholders on laws and regulations governing interactions with government officials and ABAC due diligence processes and requirements.
Conduct due diligence on Third Parties, including ordering and reviewing due diligence screening reports.
Review vendor master records to ensure ABAC due diligence screening has been completed.
Healthcare Professional Interactions:
Advise business stakeholders on laws, regulations, and industry codes pertaining to interactions with HCPs.
Assist with HCP contracting, as required.
Grants & Donations:
Provide guidance to business stakeholders on grants and donations procedures and requirements.
Compile requests for review by the APAC Grants Committee.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting and/or law.
Approximately 8 or more years of work experience, at least 2 of which should be in the life sciences industry.
At least five years of experience in implementing an ethics and compliance program for a multinational organization.
Experience in conducting internal audits and/or investigations (Preferred).
Strong customer focus, work ethic and integrity.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Strong critical thinking with sound judgment and decision-making skills.
Excellent business communication report writing skills.
Must be self-directed, proactive, motivated, and a fast learner.
Able to work independently.
Sense of humor.
