We are looking for a Legal Associate to join our Civil & Criminal Litigation team, who will work directly with the Partners.
The successful candidate will be involved in a wide array of soliciting clients in criminal cases and civil litigation matters.
Qualifications and Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years experience or more in dealing with civil and/or criminal litigation matters.
Understanding of Civil Procedure and related laws.
Assisting the Partners in litigation briefs, including various tasks and duties as may be required.
Meeting with and taking instructions from Clients in a professional manner.
Dealing with investigation agencies, prosecution authority, statutory body, and other related agencies/bodies.
Drafting letters, legal opinions, pleadings, cause papers, and submissions within short deadlines with minimal supervision.
Able to work under pressure while maintaining a good working attitude.
Proficient communication and drafting skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Possesses own transport.
In addition to the requirements above, candidates with the ability to start immediately will have an advantage.
