About the role
We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Legal Secretary/Litigation Clerk to join our dynamic team.
You will be joining the support team of a legal firm that handles construction disputes comprising litigation, arbitration, and adjudication.
We welcome candidates with an easy-going personality and the ability to relate well to others.
What you'll be doing
Providing comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to our lawyers
Preparing and maintaining client files, documentation, and correspondence
Assisting with the preparation of legal documents
Maintaining the firm's litigation database and filing systems
Liaising with clients, courts, and other external parties as and when required
Performing general office duties to ensure the smooth operation of the firm
What we're looking for
Minimum 1 year of working experience as a Legal Secretary or Litigation Clerk preferably within a law firm or legal department.
However, fresh graduates are welcome.
Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail
Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office applications
A proactive and performance-focused approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
