Logistics Manager

Permit and Customs Management:Oversee import and export permits, ensuring compliance with customs and government regulations for new products and renewals.
Logistics Coordination:Collaborate with shipping and logistics teams to monitor shipping documents, facilitate timely port clearances, and ensure prompt shipment deliveries.
Stakeholder Collaboration:Work closely with warehouse teams, forwarders, and third-party logistics providers to manage shipments and address any issues that arise.
Supply Chain Optimization:Identify opportunities for logistics optimization, negotiate beneficial contracts with suppliers, and implement strategies for cost savings and operational efficiency.
Regulatory Compliance:Prepare necessary reports and documentation for tax exemptions, permit renewals, and ensure adherence to all import/export regulations.
The Successful Applicant- Bachelor degree in Logistics/Shipping/Business Management or any related studies.
- Min 5 years of working experience in related field.
- Proven work experience, especially in managing third-party operations, systems, teams, and liaising with government stakeholders.
- Experience in shipment management.
- Strong proficiency in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Adept at multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with SAP logistics/inventory applications.
