Candidates with advanced expertise in at least two Building Management Systems (BMS) or Electrical Power Management Systems (EPMS) are given preference, with a particular emphasis on experience with Schneider EcoStruxure Building Operation.
The ideal candidate should be able to develop standardized BMS templates that are adaptable for use in engineering projects.
A prerequisite is a wealth of experience in system integration at an expert level.
Proficiency in querying multiple devices using open protocols such as Modbus and BACnet is critically important.
Familiarity with PostgreSQL and web services would be considered an additional advantage.
Proficiency in IP networks and Windows server systems is mandatory.
The candidate must possess the capability to identify and diagnose network issues that impact the functionality of the BMS and provide comprehensive solutions.
Demonstrate a robust knowledge base and adept skills in the design, debugging, testing, and integration of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) control systems.
This also encompasses the development of comprehensive control system design documents, which include operational sequences and system architecture.
Requirements
Possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in Control, Computer Science, Communication, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
Possess over five years of extensive experience in the design of weak electrical systems, with participation in at least two full-scale design projects for large to medium-sized buildings.
Candidates with specific experience in weak electrical system design for data centers are given preference.
Ability to independently formulate solutions for weak electrical systems, provide pre-sales support for major projects involving advanced sales, including client communication, technical discourse, proposal generation, and technical specification development.
Proficiency in crafting design solutions for intelligent building systems, generating construction drawings, and displaying a strong acumen for system requirement analysis, design, and budgeting.
Well-versed in the prevailing regulations governing electrical design and installation in intelligent buildings.
Proficiency in understanding the functionality, characteristics, and corresponding requirements of various components within weak electrical systems is essential.
Able to travel frequently to Johor.
