Compliance & Risk (Banking & Financial Services)
Execute and monitor smooth implementation of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) which includes the Shariah risk management activities.
Coordinate Risk Control Self Assessment (RCSA) with business units and perform control validation / sample testing.
This includes assessment related to ESG, Sustainability and Climate Risk.
Develop key risk indicators and mitigation actions under ERM.
Conduct investigation of new incidents, perform follow-up with business units on outstanding incidents/loss events until closure.
Prepare and submit loss event report to BNM as necessary.
Prepare risk reports for tabling to Executive Committee (EXCO), Operational Risk Management Committee (ORMC) and Group Board Risk Management Committee (GBRMC) meetings and risk training materials.
Map risks identified and management actions under ERM to ICAAP.
Implement and monitor adherence to HLM Takaful's governance.
Review and update relevant policies and standard operating procedures (SOP).
Assist CRO in secretarial function and prepare meeting papers for ORMC and GBRMC.
Execute and coordinate Business Continuity Management (BCM) activities.
Coordinate with business units on the requirements under outsourcing which include materiality assessment, due diligence and performance review of the outsourcing arrangements.
To undertake any ad hoc requests and matters pertaining to the Department.
Job Requirement
Min 4 years of related working experiences in insurance/banking/corporate on risk management, compliance or internal audit.
Min a degree holder or relevant professional qualification in Accounting or Finance, Risk Management, Banking, Statistics, Actuarial Science or similar discipline.
Analytical, systematic, good writing and verbal skills and interpersonal skill.
Broad overview of the business, solid understanding of the functional requirement.#J-18808-Ljbffr
