Job Responsibilities: Oversee the secretarial department, ensuring that all corporate governance and compliance matters are handled effectively. Prepare and maintain official company documents, including financial filings and board meeting minutes. Coordinate the logistics of board meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and follow-up on action items. Ensure compliance with statutory obligations and corporate regulations, acting as a liaison with legal authorities. Maintain records of company shareholders and directors, ensuring accurate and timely updates. Assist in the development and implementation of corporate governance policies and procedures. Advise the organization on best practices for corporate governance and regulatory compliance. Provide training and support to staff on legal and secretarial practices and procedures. Stay updated on developments in corporate law and governance, ensuring the company remains compliant. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field; a professional qualification in corporate governance or company secretarial practice is an advantage. At least 5-7 years of relevant experience in a corporate secretarial environment. In-depth knowledge of corporate laws, governance frameworks, and compliance regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of dealing with complex issues. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines. Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and integrity. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages are a plus. Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
