You will coordinate outside sales activities and set day-to-day goals and objectives for the outside sales team. You will be responsible for making necessary changes to processes or standards in operational plans to establish outside sales strategies.Key Responsibilities:Utilize knowledge of HVAC systems to provide solution-based offerings to customers by advising and guiding on the appropriate HVAC solutions to meet customer needs.Present technical information and solutions proposals persuasively and effectively to potential customers.Focus on educating customers on energy efficiency and decarbonization initiatives. Work closely with clients to help them achieve their ESG targets and update customers on any government incentives/policies accordingly.Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers (various departments) to understand their needs and preferences.Prepare competitive proposals and quotations to secure orders.Provide customer support after orders, address issues, and upsell or cross-sell other products or services.Collaborate with regional sales teams to identify sales opportunities and develop effective sales strategies and action plans to achieve sales targets.Ensure profitability by considering cost factors and pricing strategies.Keep track of customer interactions and maintain proper records in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to ease pipeline management and follow up on quotations to turn them into orders.Provide regular reports and updates to management on sales progress and achievements.Requirements:More than 10 years of working experience in project or sales with HVAC Chiller, AHU, and/or HVAC-related industrial products, services, or solutions.Minimum of three years of experience with chilled water systems and air-side systems, understanding the application and functionality of each component.Having HVAC system controls experience is a strong advantage.Proven order and sales achievements from previous years of experience.Team-oriented with good interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Strong self-initiative and motivation driven with minimum supervision but in a structured environment.Skills:Ability to identify potential leads through various means such as cold calling, networking, referrals, attending events, and using online platforms.Fast learner to get well-versed in the features, benefits, and applications of Carrier products or services.Able to establish strong relationships with clients by being approachable, responsive, and providing valuable insights into their problems/initiatives.Negotiate payment terms, prices, and contracts to reach a mutually beneficial agreement.Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
