We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team asManager (Trust Officer) . This full-time and permanent position is based in Labuan,Malaysia , allowing you to make a significant impact on our growth.
Key responsibilities:
Assisting the Principal Officer on the day-to-day management function.
Advising clients on relevant regulatory requirements in addition to compliance with the regulatory and reporting requirements at all times.
Maintaining the client's portfolio including reviewing statutory documents, contracts, agreements, and/or corporate secretarial related documents in a timely manner.
Ensuring all relevant statutory records, books, forms, and other related secretarial documents are updated in the relevant ViewPoint platform for data integrity.
Guiding the client's applications and registrations based on the Guidelines and Principal Act in Labuan IBFC.
Overseeing the day-to-day management and business of the company.
Adhering to the statutory and internal AML/CFT policies as well as compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Leading the Operations Department with integrity and efficiency.
Undertaking special assignments, ad-hoc functions, and related duties assigned by the Principal Officer from time to time.
Reviewing trust accounting records, tax returns, and any statutory filings to respective Authorities.
Providing guidance and advice to clients on trust-related issues, such as estate planning and wealth management.
Key requirements:
Recognized degree in Laws, Business Studies (Administration/Management Commerce), Accounting, or any other equivalent professional certificates.
Approved Trust Officer by Labuan FSA.
At least a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in Trust Administration and Corporate Secretarial services.
Conversant with the permitted activities, business dealings, and transactions including licensing and regulatory requirements undertaken in Labuan IBFC.
Well-versed in statutory and internal AML/CFT policies as well as compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Competency in compliance certification would be an added advantage.
Possess a strong sense of responsibility, positive disposition, initiative, high integrity, and efficiency in time management skills.
Excellent command of verbal communication and written English skills.
Good interpersonal skills, organizational skills, team player, meticulous, and self-reliant in a fast-paced environment.
Critical thinker and problem-solver.
Detail-oriented.
