Responsibilities:Conduct research in subject of interest related to mechanical engineering.
Lead and perform conceptual/architecture/platform design during the initial stage of development.
Design and develop automation equipment, jigs and fixtures.
Perform component selection, sourcing and material request.
Perform engineering calculations and simulation for design verification.
Involve in assembly and alignment of automation equipment, jigs and fixtures.
Test and debug automation equipment, jigs and fixtures.
Lead and perform equipment setup, commissioning and buy off on-site.
Sustaining of existing product portfolio.
Train production/service personnel on product knowledge.
Ensure proper documentation throughout the entire research and development processes.
Lead and coordinate cross-functional projects to meet cost, timeline and performance requirements.
Innovate to achieve breakthrough and continuous improvement in both products and processes.
Manage supplier base to ensure cost, lead-time and quality of products/services purchased are met.
Conduct feasibility study and proposal for customer.
Review and approve all mechanical design and documentation.
Lead the mechanical engineering team in all related matters.
Manage and coach direct-report engineers/section heads/section managers in their job roles.
Skills & Experiences Requirement:Possess Bachelor's Degree or Higher qualification.
Minimum 7 years of working experience in a similar field.
