About the role
Toshiba Logistics Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented Operation Officer to join our team in Penang. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in the smooth running of our logistics operations.
What you'll be doing Coordinate shipment schedules to ensure goods are dispatched or arrive on time.Prepare and verify shipping documents, such as invoices and packing lists.Liaise with shipping agents and carriers to promptly resolve any delays or issues.Monitor shipment status and proactively address any schedule deviations.Oversee the vanning process, ensuring containers are loaded accurately, securely, and efficiently.Work closely with operation staff to align vanning schedules with production timelines.Ensure the vanning process meets safety and quality standards and complies with shipping requirements.Act as the main point of contact for production line staff on logistics needs, ensuring production output aligns with shipping requirements.Collaborate with production staff to forecast and adjust shipping schedules based on production timelines.Support the Operation Manager with daily logistics operations and interdepartmental coordination.Maintain and update records, including shipment logs and inventory levels.Prepare regular reports on shipment status, vanning metrics, inventory levels, and logistical issues. What we're looking for Minimum education: SPM/"O" Level in any field.Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is an added advantage.At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within manufacturing, transport, or logistics.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.Attention to detail and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
