Company website: Job Description Review and analyze international orders for logistical needs (transportation, trade compliance, etc.) Stay current with international trade regulations, including customs laws, export controls, sanctions programs, and trade agreements, and ensure that company operations comply with all relevant requirements. Coordinate and communicate with overseas agents, Shipping line agents, customs broker, and Internal team. Coordinate with local vendors in preparing vehicles for transporting the machines, parts, and tooling to the site (study packing dimensions, suitability of containers, weight, road, distance, location, etc.) Identify new procedures and methods to expedite import to the site and cost savings plans for the efficient and compliant operation of the Import team. May manage international trade license/restriction processes and documentation Train employees in basic import procedures and required skills Work towards the direction of continuous excellence. Consults with internal and external customers to ensure compliance with import/export governmental requirements and represents Key sight to external government authorities in local, country, and/or international trade matters. Conduct risk assessments to identify compliance risks and vulnerabilities in import and export transactions, and develop strategies to mitigate risk. Meet with customers handling inquiries and resolving issues that affect the efficiency of operations Familiar with legal compliance with local and national regulations Job Requirement Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, Logistics or related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in trade compliance, customs brokerage, or international logistics, with a strong understanding of import/export regulations and procedures. Well Organized and able to work under pressure and time constraints. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively. Good collaborations and teamwork. Knowledge of Malaysia Customs Rules and Regulations. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Very good computer literacy skills; MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and e-mail communication. MUST be able to converse and read Chinese due to dealing with China Headquarters Excellent quantitative and analytical skills. Excellent organization and time management skills. Ability to travel up to 80% (Overseas to our different offices) Knowledge in Law will be an additional advantage.
