Our company, Jutze Interconnect, is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art facilities, advanced technology, and eco-friendly features designed to meet the growing demand for precision and high-quality cable assembly and solutions in wire harnessing products.In view of our expansion, we require the services of a dynamic and motivated candidate for the following position in our fully air-conditioned plant in Bayan Lepas Industrial Zone, Penang.
Responsibilities:Reporting to the Master Planner, the Planning Executive will be responsible for the following:
Serve as the customer interface for the demand plan and shipment information, develop feasible operational plans, maintain ownership over the execution of the operational plan, achieve customer satisfaction objectives, minimize company liability, and continuously improve planning performance metrics.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (On-Time Delivery and Customer Requested Delivery) to assess demand planning effectiveness and recommend adjustments as needed to meet customer demand with timely delivery of the project.
Identify and communicate any potential delays or changes with customers on delivery dates and potential downstream impacts to production schedules.
Coordinate with the Programme Manager and material team to do the order planning or material availability to support the build plan and match with customer delivery requests.
Liaise with material planning to ensure a consistent and adequate supply of materials necessary for production is done prior to work order creation or release to production and meet customer shipment.
Manage issues associated with engineering changes to minimize cost exposures, excess materials, and risk to customer shipments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information, such as sales forecasts, inventory levels, material availability, and production capacity to enhance demand planning accuracy.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the supervisor or the management team from time to time.
Requirements:Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Management, Mathematics, or a related field.
At least 0-3 years of working experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or a related field.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.
Computer literate (Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint).
Strong data analytics skills (highly experienced in extracting, manipulating, and reporting data from multiple sources) and good presentation skills.
Understanding of business or manufacturing operations and knowledge of the supply chain process.
Good follow-up skills, accountability, customer-oriented mindset, on-time feedback, and support.
Proactive and passionate in the planning field.
Self-motivated and ability to work independently with the ability to effectively multitask and collaborate in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment.
