As a PR Associate, you will play an integral role in supporting our public relations efforts. You will be responsible for assisting in the development and execution of PR strategies, building relationships with media, and contributing to the promotion of our brand. **Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist in the formulation and execution of public relations strategies to promote Media Prima Berhad's brand and initiatives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts, industry influencers, and stakeholders.
- Draft press releases, articles, newsletters, and promotional materials to effectively convey Media Prima's messages.
- Support in organizing and coordinating events, press conferences, and media briefings to enhance brand visibility.
- Monitor media coverage and analyze PR campaign effectiveness, providing insights to improve future strategies.
- Collaborate with various internal teams (marketing, content, and production) to ensure a unified approach to public relations.
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences to inform PR strategies.
- Assist in maintaining the company's social media presence by crafting engaging content and monitoring interactions.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for creative PR campaigns that align with business objectives.
- Respond to media inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
**Requirements:**
- A driven, energetic, and dedicated individual, looking to grow within the public relations field.
- Excellent decision-making skills and the ability to assess situations to determine appropriate actions.
- Strong presentation skills, capable of effectively communicating ideas and strategies clearly.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Malay and/or Mandarin is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Must be a quick learner, adaptable to new concepts, and willing to take initiative in various projects.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, web analytics, and digital marketing practices is an advantage.
