This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful team of Computer Science teachers at Garden International School (GIS).

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Alignment
Collaborate with school leadership to support and work towards the whole-school strategic focus areas for the academic year.
Align individual and team objectives with the institution's strategic priorities through the Professional Learning Cycle.
Digital Vision Development
Contribute to shaping and advancing the school's digital vision, promoting innovative approaches to EdTech integration.
Exhibit a positive, ambitious, and creative approach to technology use, serving as a proactive advocate for digital learning initiatives.
Continuously update knowledge and skills by staying informed about the latest developments in educational technology and broader technological trends.
Teaching and Learning
Teach and team teach primary computing and act as a role model in the planning and delivery of their own teaching of digital learning and encourage the sharing of best practice amongst colleagues.
Provide coaching and guidance to teaching staff, ensuring effective integration of ICT across the curriculum.
Model effective digital practices and create opportunities for professional learning through peer-to-peer exchanges.
Facilitate professional development programs to enhance digital competencies among teaching staff.
Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn and apply computational thinking across a variety of technologies.
E.g.
Octostudio, primary robotics, and other iPad programming apps.
Collaboratively plan lessons based on the year group KPIs, using responsive teaching methods.
Personalise learning in the classroom for all students.
Analyse and triangulate student data.
Assess using both summative and formative methods and use data tracking to monitor progress of students and plan responsively on a weekly basis.
Complete reports to parents.
Be involved in leading at least 1 CCA each week.
