Consultant | Specialized in recruiting talents within the Insurance spaceKey Responsibilities:
Partner with local privacy teams to design, implement, and enhance privacy controls across projects and initiatives.
Oversee compliance with global and regional data privacy regulations by identifying risks and devising actionable mitigation strategies.
Provide strategic guidance on privacy-related matters for group-level projects and personal data processing activities.
Perform and evaluate privacy impact assessments to ensure alignment with privacy standards.
Lead the management of data incidents at both group and local levels, ensuring timely resolution and reporting.
Promote awareness of data privacy requirements across global business units through training and communication.
Maintain and regularly update the Group Privacy Policy and Operational Standards to reflect evolving regulations and best practices.
Track and analyze new data protection laws and regulations, performing gap analyses to identify and address compliance risks.
Contribute to the development and execution of privacy compliance frameworks, including policy creation, training programs, audits, and reporting mechanisms.
Skills & Experience
A bachelor's degree in Law, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
A minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience in data privacy, including compliance monitoring and operationalizing privacy frameworks.
In-depth knowledge of ASEAN data privacy regulations, including but not limited to PDPA, PDPL, PIPL, and the Personal Data Ordinance, is essential.
Professional certifications in data privacy (e.g., CIPP/A, CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, GISP) are highly desirable.
Experience in legal, audit, or risk management roles is advantageous.
Familiarity with privacy management tools, particularly the OneTrust platform, is a plus.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.
