Procurement Executive

Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)
· Assist team in RFP/RFQ process including but not limited to provide valuable inputs on which vendor to engage.
· Liaise with suppliers/sub-contractors to understand payment terms and ensure they are aware of quality and volume requirements, and can meet delivery timelines.
· Assist team in obtaining various quotations to better evaluate and compare vendors.
· Negotiate with suppliers/sub-contractors to secure the best price to minimize costs.
· Conduct research on current state and future needs, analyze market trends and potential suppliers, and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
· Regularly communicate with internal teams to update on product status and ensure timely delivery to minimize project delays.
· Ensure a common understanding of requirements and capabilities, and build an accurate and reliable forecast for material and sub-contractor services planning.
· Coordinate and support sales & marketing requirements in pre-sales and project requirements in after-sales.
· Perform any other related tasks assigned by immediate superior.
DEVELOPMENT
· Assist team in improving the procurement process including providing suggestions aligned with Group policy, ISO Standards, statutory requirements, and transparent practices.
· Assist team in developing and implementing an internal procurement database to discover opportunities for cost savings, develop effective procurement strategies, and identify purchasing patterns.
· Prepare supplier evaluation and measurement reports in accordance with set standards to facilitate better decision-making in future.
Requirements:
· Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
· Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
· Knowledge in shipping and negotiation techniques with suppliers is an added advantage.
· Good communication and presentation skills.
· Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
· Self-driven, aggressive, dynamic, and result-oriented.
· Able to work independently and resourcefully resolve ad-hoc purchasing-related problems.
· Proficient in written English and Bahasa Malaysia.#J-18808-Ljbffr
