Job ResponsibilityAssists in the development of production schedules with the Production Manager to meet maximum productivity, quality standards, and customer delivery.
Oversee day-to-day operations by leading the production of several processes/lines within a highly technical environment.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with food safety policies and other standards established such as HACCP, GMP, HALAL, SHE, etc.
Implement, control, and manage overall production activities.
Assist with first line maintenance and preventative maintenance of machinery.
Assist with on-the-job training and coaching of operators within the area of responsibility.
Responsible for shift scheduling, including workstation assignments, rotations, employee breaks, overtime assignments, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations.
Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and allocating manpower where needed.
Liaise with the Quality department on quality problems and take the necessary countermeasures to prevent re-occurrence.
Report process malfunctions to the Production Manager and liaise with maintenance personnel to resolve the problem.
Support team members for product mixing and monitor milk production to ensure a smooth process.
Liaise with other related departments to ensure production goals are realized.
Engage with HR/Superior in dealing with disciplinary problems.
Carry out any other assignments as may be given from time to time.
Job RequirementsDegree in process engineering, mechanical or other engineering-related fields; Food Tech/Food Science will be an advantage.
Minimum 2 years of supervisory/managing experience in a manufacturing environment (UHT process/food production manufacturing will be an advantage).
Excellent verbal and written English.
Able to work on shifts and/or flexible schedule.
Ability to lead and drive continuous improvement.
Good communication skills towards superiors and subordinates.
Strong leadership to lead the team and continuously improve team members by providing coaching and development plans.
