About the roleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Management Officer to join our dynamic team at Ye Chiu Non-Ferrous Metal (M) Sdn Bhd.
In this full-time position based in Johor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimising our production processes to ensure we meet our manufacturing goals.
What you'll be doing
Develop and implement production plans to maximise efficiency and productivity
Monitor and analyse production data to identify areas for improvement
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production-related issues
Coordinate the scheduling and allocation of resources, including labour and equipment
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental regulations
Provide regular reports and updates to management on production performance
Continually seek ways to optimise production processes and drive continuous improvement
What we're looking for
Minimum 3 years of experience in a production management or planning role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industries
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret production data and identify trends
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders
Proficient in the use of production management software and tools
Thorough understanding of production planning, scheduling, and control principles
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
