A Project Development Engineer is responsible for leading the bid preparation process for large and complex projects.
This includes developing and implementing bidding strategies, preparing cost estimates, conducting technical and commercial evaluations, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure the bid meets customer requirements and aligns with the company's business objectives. Reviewing and negotiating contract terms and conditions with clients, including pricing, payment terms, and risk mitigation measures.
Maintaining a strong understanding of industry standards, trends, and regulations, and incorporating these into the bidding process.
Reviewing and analyzing tender documents and conducting pre-bid site visits, as necessary.
Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local laws and regulations.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date bid information, including cost estimates, project schedules, and technical specifications.
Preparing and presenting bid presentations to clients and stakeholders, as well as participating in bid clarification and negotiations.
Requirements Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
At least 2 years of working experience in the Solar or Electrical industry.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Project and ERP systems.
Proficient in AutoCAD.
Knowledge and experience in Solar PV systems and PVSYST will be an added advantage.
Willingness to travel or relocate.
Languages: Malay.
English, Mandarin.
Proficiency in Mandarin in a plus.
