Job Descriptions: Responsible for the selection of consultants and contractors for projects; Liaise, meet, deal and negotiate with fund managers, bankers, lenders for project funding; Liaise and meet with senior government officials for land acquisitions, regulatory compliances and approvals of site plans, building plans and engineering plans; Build strong working relationships with clients, project teams, consultants, contractors, fund managers, bankers, lenders and government officials; Meet with clients, project managers and other stakeholders to report on project progress, deviations from the plans, risks, cost and project quality; Oversee and discuss with project managers to provide leadership and direction to ensure the projects remain on track and make strategic decisions; Prepare budget, devise cost-effective plans and monitor finances to ensure it keeps to the budget to enable effective project completion with minimal or no cost overruns; Make alternative plans if initial project planning runs into unexpected obstacles and manage risks to avoid delays; Make presentations to investors, business partners and company executives Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; At least fifteen years' experience in project management, including experience dealing with bankers and lenders for project financing; Those with experience working in smelting plants such as overseeing dedusting projects and building construction projects such as hotels will have added advantage; Leadership and business management skills; Good communication skills in English. Must be able to prepare and write management reports; Good computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
