Project Engineer

Responsibilities : Supervision and management of project primarily focus on the construction of civil and structural works for Sewage/Waste Water Treatment PlantLiaising with the Clients, consultants, authorities, subcontractors and suppliers for the implementation of workPrepare progress report, Work program, Method statement, Progress Claim, etcPrepare correspondences to the client/consultant/authority mainly in English & Bahasa MalaysiaAttend site meetings, site valuation, site inspection, etc.Coordinate and monitor site activities and the progress of site works including site documents eg. site diary and inspection forms and to ensure compliance with ISO requirements.Handle tasks related to calling for quotations, conducting cost analysis and overseeing procurement processesRequirements : Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.Candidate with 2 years and above experience is encouraged to applyCandidate must be able to liaise with clients, consultants, authorities etc independentlyApplicants must possess their own car and be willing to travel to all job destinations in Malaysia.  Being willing to travel overseas is an added advantageComputer Proficiency - Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and knowledge of  Microsoft Project is an added advantageAble to write and communicate in English/Bahasa Malaysia.  Knowledge of Mandarin writing and communication skills is an added advantageExperience liaising with IWK, Sewage and Wastewater Treatment Plant is an added advantageThe candidate must be willing to handle and be in charge of multiple projects
