We are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer specializing in Building Management Systems (BMS) to join our team. The Project Engineer will play a key role in overseeing the design, implementation, and commissioning of BMS projects, ensuring they meet client requirements and industry standards. This role requires a strong technical background in HVAC systems, controls engineering, and project management, along with excellent communication skills to coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities: 1) Project Planning and Design: Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to define project scope, objectives, and requirements.Develop detailed BMS designs, including system architecture, equipment selection, and integration with other building systems (HVAC, lighting, security, etc.).Prepare project documentation such as drawings, specifications, and technical proposals.2) Implementation and Commissioning: Oversee the installation and configuration of BMS equipment and controllers.Program BMS controllers and software platformsConduct system integration testing and commissioning to ensure performance meets design specifications and client expectations.Project Management: Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely completion and within allocated costs.Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to procure materials and equipment necessary for project execution.Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including progress reports and milestone achievements.Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.Address client inquiries, concerns, and change requests in a timely and professional manner.Conduct training sessions for client staff on BMS operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures.Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards, codes, and regulations in all BMS designs and installations.Implement quality assurance measures to validate system performance and reliability.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.Experience as a Project Engineer or similar roleStrong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, controls engineering, and building automation protocols (BACnet, Modbus etc.).Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.To gain an added advantage, you must satisfy the following requirements:
Experience in programming and configuring BMS controllers and software platforms such as Tridium Niagara, Siemens Desigo, Schneider Electric EcoStruxure.Proven Experience as Project Engineer with a focus on Building Management Systems (BMS) in commercial or industrial settings.Fresh Graduates are encourage to apply.
