The Role: You are responsible for evaluating suppliers, products, and services, negotiating contracts, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring that approved purchases are cost-efficient and of high quality.
Your responsibilities will require you to communicate with various vendors / suppliers from internal or external countries.
Responsibilities: Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures.Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports. Experience: 2+ years of experience as a purchasing & admin executive or in a similar position. Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Administration, Business Management or a similar field preferred. Knowledge & Skill: Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.Supervisory and management experience.Attention to detail, analytical thinking and good communication skills in negotiating Personal trait: Able to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks.Enjoys working in a fast-paced, challenging yet good to level up your skills.A highly motivated individual who is willing to take initiative and follow up with details.A good team player.Able to work with minimal supervision and at times independently.Fluent in both written and spoken English / Bahasa Malaysia.Good presentation skills and able to communicate with all levels.
