JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead whole purchasing team and coordinate with planning team to meet customer service's requirement.Schedule of all Purchasing activities and monitoring the materials delivery time.To plan the material supply chain such that meet customer's requirement, and to control inventory.Lead for total material cost downHave the authority to purchase, to deal with vendors / sub-con.Review inventories and order as required, assists Planning & Purchasing Manager in inventory control.Interact with the suppliers on a day to day basis, resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with vendors.Deal with non-supplied, under orders, over orders and damaged goods.Manage any procurement activities during RFP's (Request for Proposals.)Evaluate vendor's quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project.Advise internal and external on issues regarding purchasing Terms & Conditions.Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standard, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation.Responsible for implementing internal procurement strategies to cater to high delivery and short lead time requirements.Assist Purchasing Manager to generate & maintain necessary reports.Any other duties as assigned by superior from time to time.Monitoring PO and MO to avoid aging issue.Represent purchasing team in Engineering Change or New project Introduction Meeting. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Min Diploma in related field and orMinimum 3 years related working experience in Purchasing Dept.Leadership skill and communication skills.Knowledge in ISO 9001 Quality Management System.Experience in supplier evaluation and auditing.Knowledge of computer.
