Purchasing Executive (Material / Standard Part)

Job Description:  Interpret and process Purchase Requisitions (PR) by checking item requirements, pricing, and identifying potential vendors.Issue Purchase Orders accurately and timely.Follow up on delivery schedules and re-scheduling as needed.Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors.Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock is maintained. Verify that all purchased materials & parts meet quality standards.Work closely with internal departments such as production, engineering, and finance to align purchasing activities and manage inventory efficiently.Perform any other tasks assigned by the superior. Job Requirements: Minimum SPM or Diploma in Logistics, Business Administration or relevant field.Minimum 2 – 3 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in the automation / sheet metal industry.Material – strong knowledge of raw materials (aluminium, steel, stainless steel etc.).Standard Part – strong knowledge in mechanical and electrical/electronic components. Basic knowledge of interpreting Bills of Materials and technical drawings.Ability to work in face-paced environments independently.
