Job Descriptions:-1. Responsible for Quality Assurance with major emphasis on Operation Procedures and Service Standards.
2. To perform the role of QMR (Quality Management Representative) of the University College for effective QMS implementation in the University College.
3. To detect document defects, irregularities and non-compliances; suggest improvements, check on management effectiveness at all levels to ensure that management objectives, methods and processes are achieving the desired results.
4. To measure and feedback to University College management the degree to which all applicable obligatory requirements have been observed and complied with.
5. To conduct internal quality audit to ensure effectiveness of the QMS.
6. To provide and facilitate training to all staff on Quality and ISO awareness through briefings, seminars and workshops.
7. To update QMS documentation as processes and systems evolve.
8. To provide regular summaries and feedback on all quality matters/data to the management for review
9. To consolidate and provide the required evaluation data and performance indicators for management review.
10. To work on critical academic measures under QMS, i.e. Teaching Survey, Programme Review and Customer Satisfaction.
11. To assist the Deputy Vice Chancellor in the vetting of MQA documents submitted by the various schools prior to submission to MQA for approval.
12. To assist the Deputy Vice Chancellor in applications to MOHE and MQA for transforming the organization.
13. To provide guidance and advice to all Heads in terms of ISO and MQA documentation.
14. Having set up the international QA standard and system at UOWM KDU, continue to seek improvement of process & systems that will improve UOWM KDU's international standing.
15. Perform any other duties as requested by the Deputy Vice Chancellor or the person authorized by the Deputy Vice Chancellor from time to time.
Job Requirements:-1. A recognised Degree/Master's Degree in a related discipline;
2. Working Experience:
• From relevant industry or professional practice;
• Minimum of 5 years of working experience in similar position.
3. Specific skills, knowledge and characteristics:
• Good analytical and problem solving skills;
• Good presentation skills;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills;
• Possess critical thinking skills, and able to do strategic planning.
4. Other general criteria:
• Good command of English language;
• Good team player; and
• Light travelling required as candidate may also play the functional lead role.
