Job Responsibilities: Ensure laboratory test performs is compliance to master testing plan and meet minimum requirement from customers. To analyze the test result and feedback to superior / management for strategic decision making. Perform laboratory test according to testing plan to ensure flour, wholemeal and other by-products produced are compliance with the product specification. Conduct routine inspection and testing on wheat and other raw materials like additives to ensure it meets the required standards, and provide the result timely to the relevant parties.Conduct periodic testing of quality and pest control to ensure wheat storage is in good condition. Perform microbiological and mycotoxin test and ensure it adheres to testing plan, and results comply to regulatory and customer's standard.Issue NCR for any non-conformance product and follow up on the appropriate corrective and preventive actions, (GSTD) ensure issues have been addressed.Issue Certificate of Analysis (COA) to the customer and provide an accurate result that represents the actual flour performance in a timely manner.Consistently improve flour quality based on customer requirements, benchmarking with competitors, wheat quality and flour streams analysis.Enforce accuracy of the laboratory test results by executing periodic calibration of lab equipment to eliminate bias in instrument readingAs backup person in managing flour formula including issue flour formula list and update changes in IFIX and communication book.To ensure confidentiality of Company's wheat grist, flour formulations, wheat, and flour quality.To maintain FSSC 22000, HACCP, HALAL and SIRIM requirements to conform to regulatory and customer's standard and participate in internal audit.To perform any other tasks and assignments as directed by the management from time to time.Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Food Science and Technology, Chemistry or equivalent.1-2 years of working experience in related field.
