Job Responsibilities:Reports to the Regional Quality Lead (Thermal), Asia, and is part of the Site Supply Chain Leadership Team (SCLT). Manage the site's Hold & Release program to ensure products are manufactured in accordance with TAG's food safety & quality standards and relevant regulatory requirements. Govern and implement the site food safety and quality programs, including GMP (Pest Control, Sanitation), sensory evaluation, sustaining GLP for analytical and microbiology lab. Maintain and update quality documentation of SOP, product manual, specification, work instructions and records to meet FSSC 22000, HACCP and GQS requirements.Provide technical support to capital and NPD project to ensure effective implementation, meeting TAG's food safety & quality standardsManage Process Improvement: Review process, resource spent and KPI achievement, work with cross functional team and stakeholders, to identify opportunities for process simplification and improvement. Initiate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) process to drive reduction in NCR and consumer complaint (RFT and CPMUS)Leading, coaching, and developing the QA Operation team for key role succession planning. Responsible for resource planning for effective cost utilizationKey Requirements For Successful Applicant: Education: Bachelor of Science, Engineering or Food ScienceExperience: A minimum of 10 years quality assurance experience in food manufacturing or pharmaceutical industry, with at least 3 years experience at managerial level. Good knowledge and experience of internationally recognized audits standards (FSSC22000,HACCP, ISO9001)Basic understanding of local and export countries, i.e., Singapore, Thailand, Philippines and Hong Kong, regulatory requirements. The incumbent must have strong people, project, analytical, problem solving and influencing skills and the ability to manage multiple programs and projects and able to work well in stressful situations.Ability to communicate (both written and spoken) in Bahasa Malay and English.
