Receptionist/ Front Desk (Hotel)

Details of the offer

Check in and check out guests in an efficient and friendly manner.
Reconcile all transactions at the close of each shift.
Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodate special requests whenever possible, and resolve customer complaints.
Assist customers with inquiries regarding hotel services, hours of operation, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.
Respond to all guest requests accurately and promptly.
Interactions with guests will be in person and by phone.
Utilize a variety of computer systems to check guests in and out, run daily reports, and select and block rooms for arriving guests.
Accept reservations, changes, and cancellations, and answer guest calls, directing them appropriately in the absence of reservation staff.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the immediate superior as necessary.
Job Requirements:
Possess secondary level education with preferably 1 year of experience in a relevant field.
Pleasant disposition with good telephone etiquette, social skills, and an excellent service mindset.
Must be prepared to perform shift duties and work on weekends and public holidays.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team across a multicultural environment.
Ability to adapt, embrace strong cultural diversity, work in multi-ethnic teams, and commence employment immediately or within a short notice is an advantage.
