Job Summary
What is the opportunity?
RBC Shared Services Malaysia is a processing center of operational excellence supporting multiple RBC businesses in countries across various time zones.
Malaysia is one of several operational processing centers within RBC supporting a variety of businesses and Functions including Wealth Management, Capital Markets, I&TS, GRM, and Finance.
The entity utilizes a Global Operating Model to maximise efficiencies across times zones and supports various shifts to ensure ongoing support across time zones.
The objectives for Malaysia are to enhance the scalability of RBC's global operations, improve service quality via our 'centres of excellence' and to implement/leverage standard processes.
As a Recruiter, you will manage the end-to-end recruitment process for all assigned business groups and be responsible for the Talent Attraction Strategy in collaboration with Senior Recruitment and HR Business Partners.
What will you do?
Effectively manage the recruitment process for roles assigned, across Line of Businesses/ Business Platforms.
Collaborate with hiring managers to plan & deliver talent acquisition plans, while building a strong reputation/relationship with hiring managers.
Create plan and lead the hiring strategy conversation, acting in an advisory role to hiring managers during the intake & overall recruitment process.
Build and maintain a pipeline of candidates for recurring and hard-to-fill roles through appropriate and targeted sourcing including good quality market intelligence to business head regarding the recruitment market.
Ensure high compliance to the end-to-end recruitment process from sourcing, interview, offer to onboarding.
Regularly update Workday as per specified data integrity process requirements.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all the recruitment and HR team members as well as candidates and hiring managers.
Deliver a superior recruitment experience to all candidates and hiring managers.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
University Degree and/or relevant professional training.
5 – 7 years of experience within the recruitment field, either within an in-house HR environment, or in a recruitment agency.
Experience in recruiting for Financial Institution/Shared Service.
Willingness to take on new challenges and show initiative to help improve service and processes.
A clear understanding of the recruitment process within a financial institution.
Expertise at interview and assessment of candidates.
Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to understand business and candidates' wants and needs, and to match these effectively.
Excellent communication skills - ability to work with individuals across all areas of the bank, and liaise with third parties.
Nice-to-have:
Collaborate effectively with all hiring managers, both Recruitment Team Members and HR Business Partners.
Clear thinker, ability to suggest solutions to the model, and flex as the processes take shape in the initial stages.
Strong prioritization skills, ability to manage conflicting demands from all areas of the business whilst ensuring the recruitment process is kept in motion.
Good report writing and data tracking skills.
Good PC skills and knowledge of Excel.
