Responsibilities:
Role Overview:
The Regional Business Head will be responsible for overseeing the business performance and strategy execution across multiple countries within the region. This role will act as the primary liaison between local country teams and key clients, ensuring data standardization, consistency of information transfer, and alignment of strategic initiatives. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and ensuring that local teams have the necessary support to achieve their commercial goals.
Area of Coverage:Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Indonesia, Philippines
Regional Strategy Development and Execution:
Collaborate with senior management and local teams to develop regional business strategies and objectives.
Drive implementation of commercial plans in line with regional and global business priorities.
Cross-Country Coordination:
Act as the central point of contact for local sales & marketing teams to ensure seamless communication between countries and the regional office.
Provide guidance to local teams to align market execution with regional business strategies.
Client and Stakeholder Management:
Serve as the primary interface between the company and regional clients, building strong relationships to foster trust and collaboration.
Manage communication flow to ensure consistency and clarity of information between stakeholders.
Data Standardization & Reporting:
Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and standardization across markets to facilitate effective business reporting and decision-making.
Consolidate and analyze regional performance metrics, providing actionable insights to senior management.
Business Growth & Development:
Identify new business opportunities and develop initiatives to drive growth in each market.
Support local teams in expanding the portfolio and improving market share.
Operational Support & Best Practice Sharing:
Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices across country teams to enhance overall regional performance.
Troubleshoot operational issues and provide solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Budget Management:
Work with country managers to plan and monitor regional budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives and cost-efficiency.
People Development & Leadership:
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to local teams, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.
Identify training and development needs to build capabilities within the region.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA would be an added advantage.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in a commercial or business development role, preferably in a regional capacity.
Proven track record of managing multi-country operations and teams.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across diverse cultures.
Experience in Dermatology is required.
