Job Description:
We are looking for a passionate and driven Remote Accountant to join our team at Malaysia Airlines Berhad. As a part-time entry-level position, you will be responsible for handling various accounting tasks remotely from Malacca City, Melaka, MY. This role is perfect for individuals who are detail-oriented and have a strong analytical mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger accounts, financial statements, and other financial reports
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure financial processes are efficient and accurate
- Provide support for audits and other financial reviews
- Stay up-to-date on accounting regulations and best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- No prior experience required, but a willingness to learn and grow in the role
