### Job Description
Eco World Development Group Berhad is seeking a dynamic and creative Remote Social Media Manager to join our team. As an integral part of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audiences, and promote our commitment to sustainable development. This is a part-time position geared towards individuals with a passion for social media, community engagement, and environmental stewardship.
### Key Responsibilities
1. **Content Creation and Management:**
- Develop and curate engaging content for various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others, focusing on sustainability and community engagement.
- Create visually appealing graphics, videos, and other multimedia content that aligns with our brand aesthetic and messaging.
- Schedule and publish content regularly to maintain an active online presence.
2. **Social Media Strategy and Planning:**
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that supports company objectives and maximizes reach.
- Monitor social media trends and best practices to keep the brand relevant and engaged with the audience.
3. **Community Engagement:**
- Actively engage with our online community, responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely manner.
- Foster relationships with users, influencers, and stakeholders to enhance engagement and promote brand advocacy.
4. **Analytics and Reporting:**
- Monitor, analyze, and report on social media metrics and user engagement to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies.
- Use analytics tools to provide insights on audience behavior and preferences, helping to inform future content and strategies.
5. **Research and Development:**
- Conduct ongoing research on emerging trends in social media and relevant industry topics to keep the content fresh, informative, and aligned with Eco World Development's mission.
- Stay informed about competitors and industry developments to leverage opportunities for growth and differentiation.
6. **Collaboration:**
- Work closely with other departments, including PR, customer service, and product development, to ensure that messages are consistent and effective across all channels.
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to contribute to broader marketing initiatives.
### Requirements
- **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- **Experience:**
- Minimum 3 years of experience in social media management, preferably within the real estate or sustainability sectors.
- Proven track record of successful social media campaigns and engagement strategies.
- **Technical Skills:**
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
- Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights) to measure and report on social media performance.
- **Personality Traits:**
- Resourceful: Strong ability to find creative solutions and navigate challenges effectively.
- Adaptable: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to adjust strategies as needed based on feedback and analytics.
- **Soft Skills:**
- Excellent research skills to stay informed and generate relevant content ideas.
- Strong cooperation and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team and engage across departments.
