Remote Support Specialist

Job Description:

S P Setia Berhad is seeking a Remote Support Specialist to join our team in George Town, Penang, MY. This is a full-time entry-level position with the opportunity for growth within the company. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role and possess the personality traits of being resourceful and adaptable. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:
- Provide remote technical support to customers via phone, email, and chat
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with software and hardware
- Document all customer interactions and resolutions in the CRM system
- Collaborate with other support specialists and technical teams to escalate and resolve complex issues
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends to provide accurate and timely support
- Provide feedback to the product development team on customer pain points and feature requests
- Assist with training and onboarding new support team members

Requirements:
- 1 year of experience in a technical support role
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of CRM systems and remote support tools
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
