Job Responsibilities:To lead and initiate research & development efforts in creating new products including formulation and market survey.
To lead the sourcing and selection of ingredients and try-run products in lab-scale and production scale.
To lead the R&D projects such as sample preparation, product costing and product sensory.
To conduct and monitor the preparation of samples and to determine the process specifications in the lab.
To lead food sensory testing to determine approved products.
To ensure the documentation is updated including product and raw materials specification, formulation, and process control form.
To improve and revise existing product formulations and processes, if necessary, to optimize productivity and cost.
To calculate and try-run products to ensure obtaining the most competitive cost and good quality product.
To provide relevant technical support and expertise regarding product, process, ingredients, or food regulations as appropriate.
To drive innovation in processes, ingredients, or products to continually search for cost-saving opportunities and new technologies that contribute to the overall strategy of the business.
To work collaboratively with QA and Production departments to assure product quality and efficiency.
Requirements:
Diploma and Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Nutrition, Food Engineering or any related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in the R&D field.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday (8:30 AM - 5:30 PM)
