About the role As a Sales Engineer at PROFAZ MAJU NIAGA SDN. BHD., you will be responsible for driving sales and providing technical support to clients. This is a full-time position that offers opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
What you'll be doing Conduct Research and Development:
Develop new and innovative processes for handling chemicals safely and efficiently.Improve existing chemical handling techniques to increase productivity and safety.Design and Optimize Equipment:
Design, test, and optimize equipment used for chemical processing and handling.Collaborate with the engineering team to enhance equipment performance and process safety.Safety Procedures:
Develop, implement, and continuously improve safety protocols for handling hazardous materials.Ensure all chemical handling procedures comply with industry standards and regulations.Quality Control:
Perform rigorous tests to ensure the quality and consistency of chemical products.Ensure that all products meet regulatory compliance and adhere to company standards.
 Process Monitoring:
Monitor ongoing production processes and optimize them for increased safety and efficiency.Implement systems to track and improve production performance.
 Environmental Compliance:
Ensure all chemical handling and processing activities comply with environmental standards and regulations.Work to minimize the environmental impact of chemical processing activities.What we're looking for A bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferable Chemical, Mechanical or related field.Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales engineering or technical sales roleStrong understanding of chemistry, physics, biology, and mathematics.Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and conducting tests.Experience with process simulation tools and industrial equipment design is a plus.Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Providing pre-sales technical support, including needs assessment, solution design, and cost estimation.Collaborating with the technical team to ensure seamless delivery and implementation of solutionsMaintaining strong relationships with existing clients and providing post-sales supportStaying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, products, and technologiesSoft Skills:
Excellent analytical, observational, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.Safety Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of laboratory and industrial safety standards.Thorough knowledge of environmental regulations and chemical handling protocols.
