Position Overview: As a Sales Executive at Fastenal Malaysia, you will be responsible for driving sales and expanding our market presence within the region. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and deliver outstanding service. This role requires a proactive individual with strong sales skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for achieving targets.
Key Responsibilities: Sales and Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting, lead generation, and client meetings. Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers to drive repeat business and increase customer retention.
Customer Engagement: Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions that align with their requirements. Offer product recommendations, demonstrate product features, and address customer inquiries and concerns.
Sales Targets: Meet or exceed sales targets and performance goals set by the company. Monitor and report on sales performance, including tracking progress towards goals and identifying areas for improvement.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape. Provide insights and recommendations for strategic sales initiatives and product offerings.
Product Knowledge: Maintain a strong understanding of Fastenal's product range and industry trends. Stay updated on new products, services, and technologies to effectively communicate value propositions to customers.
Administrative Duties: Prepare and present sales reports, manage customer accounts, and handle administrative tasks related to sales activities, including order processing and follow-up.
Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including customer service and operations, to ensure a seamless customer experience. Share best practices and contribute to a positive team environment.
Qualifications: A valid driver's license and the ability to meet our driving record requirementsA strong aptitude for Sales and a desire to sellDemonstrate our core values of Ambition, Innovation, Integrity and TeamworkThe ability to lift, slide and lower packages that typically weigh 5-10kg and may weigh up to 15kgHigh school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in sales, customer service, or warehouse operations preferred.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.The ability to speak fluent English.
