Teaching Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and evaluate lessons and activities to ensure the transformation of knowledge and skills to the students.
Identify clear teaching objectives and specify how they will be taught and assessed.
Plan, prepare, and deliver courses and lessons in line with curriculum objectives.
Assign and mark work, give appropriate feedback, and maintain records of students' progress and development.
Research new topic areas and maintain up-to-date subject knowledge.
Organize the learning resources and the classroom learning environment.
Update the students' profile on their development, progress, and behavior.
Assess, record, and report students' progress towards attaining the intended outcomes.
Design, manage, and participate in educational and extracurricular activities.
Prepare, conduct, correct, and record the marks of the exams.
Maintain good order and discipline amongst students and safeguard their health and safety at all times.
Offer at least one Co-Curricular Activity per term.
Participate in Extra Curricular Activities to enhance the school experience for learners.
Relations Management:
Manage communication with students and parents to ensure cooperation and positive relationships.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents.
Participate in activities to exchange knowledge and experience with colleagues.
Advise and cooperate in the preparation and development of teaching materials, methods of teaching, and assessment.
Encourage good practice with regard to punctuality, behavior, standards of work, and evaluating own teaching to improve effectiveness.
Communicate and consult with parents to enhance students' performance.
Provide guidance and advice to students on educational and social matters and on their further education and careers.
Manage student behavior in the classroom and on school premises, applying appropriate and effective measures in cases of misbehavior.
Participate in school assemblies and other activities.
Maintain discipline in accordance with the school's policies and procedures.
Authorities:
Decide on students' external participation in competitions and events.
Qualifications & Competencies:
Bachelor/Master degree in education.
At least five years' experience in teaching.
Experience in effective teaching and learning strategies.
Experience in an international school environment (preferred).
Competent in setting and evaluating objectives.
Fluent in Arabic and English.
Demonstrated appreciation of children.
Ability to establish and maintain good relationships.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to influence and motivate others.
Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Listen actively.
Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
